Planning of our film.. 'Druggie' Trial Make-up

When planning our film we knew that the most important thing was the appearance of the actors. Mollie had already been able to practice her directing skills as had Chloe with her camera skills during the prelim, but I had not had a chance to practice the make up and Jade had not had a chance to get into the character of a drug addict. Therefore we both experimented with the look of a junkie.

The photos below were what we took of our first attempt of the 'druggie' make-up. We wanted something obvious, but not too over-powering, as the zombies were the main attention. We decided to go for the red, itchy look to the eyes and to make her hair frizzy would also add to the effect of the character.

We found that the look we went for, turned out very good and extremely effective & realistic.
